DST new European warehouse and production facility
During Q1 2023, Bjørn Thorsen A/S (BTG), the parent company of Digital Serigraphic Technologies A/S (DST), has invested in a new facility in Svendborg, Denmark, to serve as centralized European warehouse for DST and production site for selected DST product groups. This investment in new capacity will deliver better product performance consistency as well as significantly increase DST’s efficiency and effectiveness in running its entire logistics operations, from supply/demand management to planning and executing pick-up and shipments.
The Svendborg warehouse has been designed to handle large volumes of inventory, allowing for smoother distribution of DST products across Europe and into other geographies. The new production site will also drive for optimized manufacturing processes, resulting in improved quality control and consistency and faster lead times. Moreover, this new location also extends BTG formulation and application development capabilities accessible to DST.
